1 days Max 20 people
Bolzano was the first city in Italy to host a Christmas market, and it remains the largest and most famous in the country. From Verona you can take a direct train to the heart of a town that blends Italian and Tyrolean charm, with Piazza Walther lined with wooden stalls, the scent of cinnamon and mulled wine in the air, and the Romanesque‑Gothic cathedral as a backdrop. Traveling by train avoids the uncertainty of driving on the A22 in December, with possible snow and ice on the road.
Meet at Verona Porta Nuova station to catch the direct train to Bolzano. Upon arrival, we stroll together through Piazza Walther and the historic centre, with free time to explore the craft stalls, taste traditional zelten and soak up the festive atmosphere. At midday we break for lunch in the town centre (on your own). In the afternoon we continue touring the Christmas market and the old town, with the option to ride the Renon cable car for a different view of the city, before returning to the station for the train back to Verona.
